The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has created havoc on our daily lives and threatened our health and safety. Our first priority in these difficult times is the health and well-being of our members, our volunteers, and our employees. For those who are dealing with this virus as a patient, parent, family member, or friend of someone who is infected, our well wishes and thoughts are with you.
Due to concern over the safety of our NAIC/BetterInvesting family and community, we regret to inform you that we have decided to postpone the 70th BetterInvesting National Convention (BINC 2021) originally scheduled for Dallas, Texas October 21-24, 2021.
Those who have registered will have a choice to roll over their current registration to the rescheduled 70th BetterInvesting National Convention or to receive a full refund of their registration fee. For those who have canceled before this announcement and were charged a $50 cancellation processing fee, this will be returned to you. In addition, if you have made a hotel reservation, this reservation will automatically be canceled for you and if a deposit was made, this will be returned to you. We appreciate your patience as we work through the logistics of this postponement.
The 70th annual BetterInvesting National Convention will still be held in Dallas, Texas on a yet-to-be-determined date. We hope our attendees, sponsors and supporters of BINC 2021 will join us as we celebrate 70 years of the NAIC / BetterInvesting.
Postponing BINC 2021 is a disappointment to many, but we are mindful that BINC attendees will return home to family, friends, and co-workers from all over the country, so any potential impact from the virus could have broader implications. We would like to thank our members, volunteers, attendees, exhibitors, and staff for their understanding and support. More details are to come as soon as they are worked out by the BINC volunteer planning committee, which has been exceptional during the past 18 months of uncertainty.
